The tyre size is located on the sidewall of your tyre 195/55R16 87V
- How do I search for new tyres:
Find your tyre size by looking on the sidewall of your current tyre and key in these numbers on the shop now page from our webisite.
- When should I change my tyres:
As a general rule tyres should be replaced when the tread depth is below 2mm. ???
- How old are my tyres:
There is a 4 digit build stamp on the sidewall of the tyre. This tells you the age of your tyre. For example 2416 means that the tyre was made in the 24th week of 2016
- Shipping and Delivery Policy:
We deliver products using Fastway. You will be sent a Tracking Code once your tyres have been dispatched. Shipping costs are influenced by the size and weight of the product and your location.
Exact shipping costs are calculated in the shopping cart and will be added to the order total before checkout.
Orders are dispatched within 1- 2 business days. Shipping times are estimated at between 1 and 3 business days depending on your location.
Please note – Tyre freight requires a signature on delivery, and Traceystyres.com.au will not pay for redelivery attempts.
If you choose to have the tyres sent to your home address, and are not there when the tyres are delivered, you will be required to pick the tyres up from the freight depot.
- Shipping Destinations:
Traceys Tyres ships goods to the greater Gold Coast region, Australia at the moment and will hopefully be expanding to others areas in Australia later on.
We do NOT accept international orders through our website. Please contact us on 0488 006 752 to enquire about a special order.
- How much for Fitting and Balancing and where can I get this done:
If you chose to use one of our fitment centres it will only cost $15 per tyre to have your tyres striped, fitted, balanced and tyre disposal.
We have a preferred fitment centre in both Gaven and Ashmore, if you choose to have your tyres sent here your delivery will be free of charge.
- How do I book my fitment appointment:
Once you have purchased your tyres you will need to call the store to make an appointment.
- What is a wheel balance:
A wheel balance makes sure that the wheel and tyre weight is evenly distributed on your vehicle. If this is not done correctly your car may vibrate at higher speeds (80km and above) and can also cause uneven wear on your tyres.
- What is wheel alignment:
This is part of standard vehicle maintenance that consists of adjusting the angles of wheels so that the steering points in a prfectly straight line and they are set to the car maker’s specification.
- Refund policy:
Please choose carefully. We do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision.
You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit where goods are faulty, have been wrongly described, are different to the product purchased on the website or don’t perform as advertised.
